Ezdrummer 2 midi map snare1/14/2024 ![]() However, you get your most bang for your buck with their complete version. Note: Hand usage can be forced by using MIDI channel 2 for the right hand and MIDI channel 3 for the left hand. SSD5.5 - kind of a happy median between the two in sound quality, but honestly, more than anything I don't like their new UI, and it has the most obtuse installation process of any program I've ever used. snare hits are played in rapid succession. I do like how much easier it is to tune their kicks specifically though. I find their sounds a bit hollow though, they sometimes sound overly produced, but that caters to a lot of people so YMMV. ![]() GGD - My experience with GGD is very limited (2 total sessions at someone else's house) but it was solid. You can re-assign midi-assignemnts both in platform and out, so that your midi notes show up where you want them in your DAW for ease of editing which is MEGA clutch. It literally takes 2 total clicks (3 if you count opening the mapping window) to re-map anything. ![]() It's pretty god damn hard to beat their re-mapping capability. Honestly about how I'd rank them personally too.ĪD2 - king in my book, and what I use 99% of the time. Short list: AD2, GGD, SSD5.5 in that order.
